Search

Search works across every library and media type in Norri. Open it from the sidebar or press the search icon in the top bar.

How It Works

Type at least 3 characters to start searching. Results appear instantly as you type, grouped into sections by media type: Movies, TV Shows, Artists, Albums, and Tracks.

Each section shows the number of matches found. Click any result to go straight to its detail page.

Result Cards

Every result shows:

• Artwork (poster, album cover, or artist photo)
• Title
• Subtitle with additional context like the year, artist name, or character name
• Library badge indicating which library the item belongs to

Tips

• Search matches against titles, original titles, and artist names
• Results are ranked by relevance, with closer matches appearing first
• Searching for a person’s name returns movies and TV shows they appear in
• For browsing within a single library, the sort and filter options on the library page may be more useful than a global search
