Yes. The server and web client are completely free with all features. You can manage your entire media library, stream to any browser, set up Live TV and DVR, and use all server functionality without paying anything. The native apps are optional.
What's included in the Apple ecosystem purchase?
One purchase via the App Store covers iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac. Family Sharing is supported, so up to 6 family members can use the apps with a single purchase.
Do I need separate purchases for Android TV and Fire TV?
A Google Play purchase covers Android phone, tablet, and Android TV. Fire TV uses the Amazon Appstore and requires a separate purchase. This is due to how the platforms work, not a choice we made.
Will the server always be free?
